
Martin Garcia
Chairman
From 1981 through 1995, Mr. Garcia practiced law and was a partner in two premier law firms. From 1992 through 1998, he owned and operated a successful private equity investment company. Since then he has managed his family’s capital by investing in a very low turnover, concentrated portfolio of public securities.
Mr. Garcia has served on the board of a NASDAQ and three New York Stock Exchange companies, where he served as the chairman of the audit committee, governance committee, finance committee and compensation committee. He is past Chairman of the Investment Advisory Council for the Florida Pension fund System, which oversees over $160 billion in investment assets. He has served on a number of nonprofit and government agency boards. He also founded and funded his family’s charitable foundation.
Mr. Garcia graduated with a B.A. in accounting from the University of South Florida and with a J.D. from Wake Forest University School of Law.

Garrett Garcia
Vice President & CFO
Mr. Garcia is the Chief Financial Officer of Pinehill Capital and President of the Garcia Family Foundation. He is responsible for all aspects of operating the foundation. He is a frequent speaker at philanthropy conferences and has published articles on the subject of best practices for family foundations.
Prior to joining his family office, Mr. Garcia worked at Raymond James Bank where his responsibilities included consulting clients about desirable liquidity levels and assisting them in developing strategic borrowing plans. He holds an MBA in finance from the University of Tampa and a BA in economics from Wofford College.
He enjoys an active outdoor lifestyle with his family that includes fishing and camping. His family is active in their church.
