Martin Garcia

Chairman

From 1981 through 1995, Mr. Garcia practiced law and was a partner in two premier law firms. From 1992 through 1998, he owned and operated a successful private equity investment company. Since then he has managed his family’s capital by investing in a very low turnover, concentrated portfolio of public securities.

Mr. Garcia has served on the board of a NASDAQ and three New York Stock Exchange companies, where he served as the chairman of the audit committee, governance committee, finance committee and compensation committee. He is past Chairman of the Investment Advisory Council for the Florida Pension fund System, which oversees over $160 billion in investment assets. He has served on a number of nonprofit and government agency boards.  He also founded and funded his family’s charitable foundation.

Mr. Garcia graduated with a B.A. in accounting from the University of South Florida and with a J.D. from Wake Forest University School of Law.

Garrett Garcia

President & CEO

Garrett is the President & CEO of Pinehill Capital Partners. In addition to his investment management oversight responsibilities, he has executive management responsibility for the philanthropic decisions of the Garcia Family Foundation. He has authored publications and is a frequent guest speaker at conferences related to family offices, foundations, and next-generation family strategies.

Prior to joining the family office, Garrett worked at Raymond James Bank providing underwriting analysis evaluating capital structures. He is a co-founder and board member of GuidEd, a non-profit that provides services to families of students seeking K-12 school choice advice.

Garrett holds an MBA in finance from the University of Tampa and a BA in economics from Wofford College. He is active in his church, an avid outdoorsman, and spends all his free time with his wife and three kids.

Ashley Guyton

Chief Financial Officer

Ashley Guyton serves as Chief Financial Officer, overseeing internal and external financial reporting for the multiple entities managed by the family office. Her responsibilities include financial analysis, strategic planning, and forecasting in supportof the Garcia Family’s investment strategy and philanthropic initiatives.

Ms. Guyton brings a distinguished career partnering with entrepreneurs and family-owned businesses to drive sustainable growth and long-term profitability. She began her career in the Tax Division of Arthur Andersen’s Washington, DC office, where she developed keen interests in real estate and partnership and S-corporation taxation. For more than two decades, she served as CFO for Tampa-based commercial real estate development firms, supporting organizations whose portfolios, teams, and financial
performance expanded nationwide.

In addition to her long-term leadership roles, Ms. Guyton has advised numerous closely held companies on a contract basis, providing strategic guidance across finance, tax, and accounting functions. She is particularly known for designing and implementingdisciplined processes and controls that improve efficiency, accuracy, and profitability.

Ms. Guyton holds a BBA in Accounting from Southern Methodist University and an MBA from Duke University’s Fuqua School of Business. She earned the Chartered Financial Analyst designation in 1996 and is a long-standing member of the CFA Institute. Outside of her professional work, she enjoys spending time with her family, teaching yoga, traveling, and pursuing her lifelong interests in languages, history, and culture.
